Dear Sally Mike and Peter Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay with you last month you all looked after us so well and everything in the house was perfect-I am really missing those wonderful breakfasts! What a stunning stay we had at Dongola House - Peter, Sally & Mike made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. Nothing was too much bother for them, from our specific request for family accommodation with interleading rooms, to an emergency needle and thread delivered at a moment's notice to save the day! Breakfasts were practically gourmet by comparison to other B&B's we've stayed in overseas - great South African hospitality! You can do no wrong to book a stay in the lovely Dongola House. We'll be back!

Dongola House, a little bit of serenity on the edge of a bustling city,with it's manicured gardens of colour from the indigenious fynbos. Attention to detail is the order of the day,where everything has a function and a place,where one sleeps like a baby,where ones early wakeup call is a rapid tap tap of the resident Guineafowl at it's reflection in the bedroom window.Where one wakens to the sound of the Spurfowl calling to the morning sun as it invites the mountain to the day. The smell of early morning dampness rising from the conservancy bordering the garden.I would go back any day ,infact I will. Thanks Mike and Sally

What a wonderful place to unwind. The very comfortable bed, stunning views and peace and quiet all contributed to a very relaxing weekend. The 5 star breakfast and service were the cherries on the top.

Dear Peter,Thank you so very much for going out of your way to make our stay 100% more enjoyable. It was sure a pleasure to have you around , you were informative,helpful, fun and kind, but we will always remember you as the best brakfast chef in all of Cape Town. We thank you for your generosity and whenever we were enjoying ourselves you jumped up to make it better,building a fire,heating the pool, and buying rice milk are just some of the many things. Mike and Sally made us feel so welcome, easy to find, close to all the touristy spots and it's so clean (newly renovated)! Amazing views, a definite must, cant wait to go back...
